About the authors
David Walliams first became known as one of the Little Britain crew. He’s appeared in Doctor Who and swam the English Channel for Sport Relief. Now, in addition to being an actor, TV host, and a judge for Britain’s Got Talent, he’s one of Britain’s bestselling children’s authors. His many books include Megamonster, The World’s Worst Parents, and The Midnight Gang. He holds virtual assemblies for children across the country. Many of his books have been adapted into television films and national stage tours. Walliams was appointed OBE in 2017 for services to literature and charity.
Quentin Blake was the first Children’s Laureate, best known for his long-running collaboration with Roald Dahl. He’s also illustrated books by other authors, including Sylvia Plath, Michael Rosen, and Dr. Seuss and many astonishing books written by himself.
Tony Ross is the hilarious illustrator behind The Little Princess and Horrid Henry. He’s a prolific children’s book artist and has done everything from Shakespeare to The Secret Seven. He’s now known for his longstanding collaboration with David Walliams - he’s illustrated picture books, novels, posters and more!
