Summary
Isaac Asimov's I, Robot is one of the most influential science fiction books ever published. A fix-up novel combining nine short stories with a framing narrative, it introduced the Three Laws of Robotics to the world. Not only did it inspire generations of SF novelists, but also the real-world development of robotic engineering and artificial intelligence. A film version was released in 2004.
This collection contains I, Robot, its follow-up The Rest of the Robots, and the four Elijah Bailey novels. These are set thousands of years later, and the final book Robots and Empire ties the Robot series into the wider universe of The Foundation Series.
