In these four volumes, horror master Scott Cawthon spins three sinister novella-length stories from different corners of his series; canon. Each story comes complete with accompanying artwork from fan-favourite game artist LadyFiszi, who brings the horror to life in startling new ways. This collection features four volumes, each with 3 frightening short stories, integrating characters from the well-loved survival horror franchise. Readers familiar with the game will meet familiar fan-favourite characters in a new twist of terrifying tales. Join a host of new characters featured in these four volumes. As they all navigate through the trials and tribulations of childhood, they learn the hard way that in the callous world of Five Nights at Freddy's, it's always in the depths of loneliness where evil creeps in and attracts hungry monsters.

This frightening volume includes four books, including Into the Pit, Fetch, 1:35 AM and Step Closer. Each volume follows three separate novella-length stories of horrifying killer animatronics and monsters guaranteed to make even the bravest Five Nights at Freddy’s fan quiver in fear. These books are the perfect collection to read for ages 12 years and up, but be warned, they’re not for the faint-hearted…

Readers beware: This collection of terrifying tales is enough to unsettle even the most hardened Five Nights at Freddy’s fans.

About the Author:

Scott Braden Cawthon is an American former video game developer and writer. His prominence in the industry sky-rocketed after the creation of the Five Nights at Freddy’s media franchise in 2014. The games are a collection of survival horror games in which the player must survive five nights at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza from the dangers of sentient and violent animatronic creatures. Released independently, the game achieved mass popularity, with Cawthon developing nine games in the main series until his retirement in 2021, with the addition of three spin-off games. His latest and last instalment in the popular franchise concludes with Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, released in December 2021. In December 2019, the first book in the eleven-book series Fazbear Frights: Into the Pit was released both as an ebook and paperback format. The next ten books have subsequently been released accordingly.

These four short story collections – straight from the mind of Five Nights at Freddy's creator Scott Cawthon – are full of original, spine-tingling tales sure to have even the bravest readers shivering with fear.

Into the Pit

The Fazbear Frights series starts with three bone-chilling, novella-length tales to keep even the bravest Five Nights at Freddy’s player up at night…

Into the Pit follows Oswald who spends his summer holidays at Jeff’s Pizza, a vacant restaurant which has a big empty stage that no one had ever used and a dirty ball pit. After hiding in the ball pit, he emerges only to discover the room filled with children and arcade machines- Where was he? Oswald returns to the ball pit and one day emerges to hear screaming only to discover a man in a spring Bonnie costume standing over 6 dead kids- can Oswald get rid of the crazy animatronics for good and return home safely?

To be beautiful follows Sarah, an unpopular girl that wishes to be beautiful. When walking home from school one day, she stumbles upon a junkyard and finds Circus Baby, an animatronic doll. After cleaning it and turning it on, Circus Baby introduces herself as Eleanor and promises to grant any wish Sarah desires to show her appreciation for taking care of her. Sarah wishes to be beautiful but what is the true cost of beauty when an animatronic wants to turn you into scrapyard junk and replace YOU?

Count the Ways follows Millie, a goth girl living with her grandfather who explores her grandfather’s workshop only to discover Funtime Freddy. Upon climbing into his chest cavity, she awakes to a horror scene like no other. Funtime Freddy tells her that he’s going to kill her, but she will get to choose how she’ll die. Funtime Freddy has lots of options for Millie to choose from including starvation, hypothermia, impalement or even decapitation. Will Millie be able to escape Funtime Freddy in time before her gruesome death?

Fetch

The Fazbear Frights series continues with three more bone-chilling, novella-length tales to keep even the bravest Five Nights at Freddy’s player up at night…

Fetch tells the story of high schooler Greg and his friends who find an animatronic dog named fetch. After school, Greg rushes home on his bike only to be bitten by his neighbour’s angry dog. The next day he finds the dog dead in his backyard with a text on his phone reading ‘You’re Welcome’. That can’t be a coincidence, right? But soon enough Greg realises how far coincidences go when he starts getting strange text messages from a mysterious number that reveals itself to be Fetch, and he soon realises that the animatronic is tracking everything he does.

Lonely Freddy follows Alec, who has always bullied his little sister Hazel, thinking of her as a spoiled brat. After exploring the pizzeria, Alec comes across Lonely Freddy, a robotic toy that is supposed to be a fake friend with the ability to have simple conversations. It starts asking him questions, slowly becoming more unhinged…and then its eyes glow and Alec loses all control of his body.

Out of Stock follows Oscar, a high school kid, who learns that the latest toy, the Plushtrap Chaser- a mechanical toy that moves in the dark and freezes in the light- is going to be on sale. Back at home, a terrible storm has started and leaves the house out of power. And then the toy awakes. Can the group find light and escape the killer toy in time?

1:35 AM

The Fazbear Frights series continues with three more bone-chilling, novella-length tales to keep even the bravest Five Nights at Freddy’s player up at night…

1:35 AM follows Delilah, who escapes deeper into her dreams each night, in desperate need of a wake-up call. One day, she stumbled across a dark-eyed mechanical doll named Ella. Disappointed to find that she doesn't work, she throws Ella in the dumpster. At 1:35 AM Delilah is woken up to strange whispering. Then it happens the next night. And then the next. She was starting to lose her mind. No matter how much she tries to run away, Ella is always near…

Room for One More follows Stanley, a night guard at an underground sketchy facility. One day, he finds a Minireena (a wooden ballerina doll with white painted faces) and thinks nothing of it and goes to sleep on the job. As he wakes up, the doll is gone but he feels an odd pain in his body, his arm starts to swell and his throat bleeds. Things are not always as they seem in the callous world of Five Nights at Freddy’s, it's always in the depths of loneliness that evil creeps in.

The New Kid follows the story of Devon and Mick, a lonely pair of kids with no friends who quickly become friends with the new kid at school, Kelsey. After a friendship mishap, Devon decides to take revenge on Kelsey by harmlessly scaring him. The prank horribly backfires. As Devon goes to check on Kelsey the next day, he is nowhere to be found and finds a corpse that isn't Kelsey’s…And then a new boy introduces himself as the new kid in school. His name is Kelsey.

Step Closer

The Fazbear Frights series continues with three more bone-chilling, novella-length tales to keep even the bravest Five Nights at Freddy’s player up at night…

Step Closer follows the story of Pete who lashes out at his younger brother, Chuck, in the wake of his parent's divorce. He decides to play a prank on him by locking him with Foxy the pirate. And then the animatronic begins to sing. “You can be a pirate, but first, you have to lose an eye and an aaaaarrrrrm”. The next day, several strange occurrences happen to Pete, leaving him close to losing an eye because of a loose scalpel and nearly losing an arm because of a falling butcher’s knife. This is too strange, Pete thinks. Foxy’s curse can’t be real…can it?

Dance With Me follows the story of Kasey, a thief, who steals a pair of unusual novelty glasses that allow her to see Ballora, an animatronic ballerina, dancing. Her friends are unable to see anything, but Kasey notices Ballora gets closer and closer every time she wears the glasses. In her continued efforts to steal, she notices Ballora gets closer…and closer…Will Kasey give up her thieving ways before Ballora catches up to her?

Coming Home tells the story of a young girl named Susie, who was lured away and murdered leaving her family torn apart. Susie’s spirit lingers throughout the house with her family unable to see her, but by night, Chica the animatronic comes to snatch Susie’s soul away. There are only two days left before all the leaves from the nearby tree outside her front yard fall and Susie has to leave forever. But by only being able to communicate with Samantha through drawings, can her sister Samantha find the missing doll to set Susie’s soul free?
